ADJOURNED ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
January 20, 2009
The Adjourned Annual Town Meeting of the Town of East Windsor was held at the East Windsor Town Hall on January 20, 2009. Denise Menard, First Selectman called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Motion was made by Gilbert Hayes and seconded by Mark Simmons
that Denise Menard preside as Moderator. Motion to close nominations for Moderator was made by Linda Sinsigallo and seconded by Mark Simmons.
Both motions passed unanimously.
Assistant Town Clerk, Joanne M. Slater, read the call of the meeting.
The Moderator, Denise Menard, read the eligibility to vote.
The following resolution was introduced and read by Mark Simmons.
RESOLVED:
To consider and act upon a resolution that the reports of the Selectmen, Town Treasurer and other Town officers, be accepted as printed, errors and omissions accepted.
Mark Simmons moved the resolution, seconded by Jim Barton.
Denise Menard stated that the Audit is no longer included in the Annual Town Report. This will save the Town money in printing costs. Both the Annual Report and the Audit are available to anyone wishing to have one.
No further discussion followed and the resolution passed unanimously.
Motion to adjourn was made by Gilbert Hayes and seconded by Mark Simmons. The Moderator declared the meeting adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
