EAST WINDSOR TOWN HALL

TO APPOINT A SUCCESSOR FIRST SELECTMAN
The Special Meeting was called to order by Kenneth C. Crouch, Acting First Selectman, at 7:00 p.m.
The following eight qualifying Republicans were in attendance:
Kenneth C. Crouch, Selectman
Edward J. Filipone, Selectman
John (Jack) D. Mannette, Board of Finance Alternate
Linda C. Sinsigallo, Registrar of Voters
Kathleen Bilodeau, Zoning Board of Appeals Alternate
Frank L. Kirchhof, Jr., Constable
Richard P. Pippin, Jr., Constable
Blaine G. Simpkins, Constable
Mr. Crouch distributed copies of the resumes for applicants Edward J. Filipone & Denise Sabotka Menard and requested the above persons to review the resumes.
Mrs. Sinsigallo motioned to appoint Edward J. Filipone to the office of First Selectman for a term effective March 13, 2007 and expiring on November 20, 2007.
Mrs. Bilodeau seconded the motion.
A hand vote was taken; the results were 7 yes, 1 no.
Mr. Kirchhof motioned to appoint Denise Sabotka Menard.
Motion failed due to a lack of a second.
Mr. Crouch motioned to adjourn at 7:08 P.M.
