CALL TO ORDER: 7:10 PM MINUTES: Reviewed - accepted.
UNFINISHED BUSINEES:
a. “Mansions at Canyon Ridge” (formerly Mansions on Scantic) – Not discussed.
b. East Windsor River Guide /SRWA Guides – Grant money is supporting the EW River guide and hopefully some of our information can be included since we have no funds.
c. Canoe Trips on Scantic – Water level again a problem.
d. Flood (River) Review – It’s high!
e. Trail Markers – Not discussed.
f. Membership – Not discussed.
OLD BUSINESS:
a. Chair declared that the application for plans to trim trees was approved “without
permits”. Also, it has been 10 years that the Commission is in operation and the
opening of the Scantic River to recreation use will be accomplished, the Chair vowed.
NEW BUSINESS:
a. Source to Sea Clean-up is October 4th but there will be no participation this year as it conflicts with the members’ schedules and other commitments.
