MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 15, 2007 MEETING

Call To Order: 7:10 PM
Minutes : Note was made that no office meeting were hald either in December or January
due to a lack of quorum each time.
Unfinished Business
a. Mansions on Scantic – Unsure of its current status or progress.
b. SWRA River Guides – Several were purchased by Commission members. Our
Guide is still a work in progress.
c. Canoe trips on Scantic – Goal but not reached at this time.
d. Flood (River Review) – Lack of precipitation this winter, if it continues, will
facilitate a good review of previous flood issues.
e. Trail Markers – Nothing accomplished to date.
f. New Members – Offer to secure applications to speed process.
Old Business
a. Additional Town-Acquired Land – Was identified and discussed.
New Business
a. Correspondence from First Selectman – Was read, reviewed.
b. Invitation – To retirement reception for Linda Roberts was provided to all
Commission members.
c. SWRA – Land Trust has acquired more land. There will be a walk along the
River from Somers into Enfield with plans to continue on to the East Windsor
Line. SRWA dates will be published to the Commission members.
