Minutes of October 19, 2006 meeting: Reviewed, accepted.
Unfinished Business
Mansions on Scantic: More land has been purchased so there may be some progress on this development.
Mission Statement & Master Plan: No change.
EW River Guide: Copy of the guide produced by SRWA was shown and some will be purchased as references until the EW Guide is completed.
Canoe Trips on Scantic: Still trying to make canoe trips and need for flat end boat to use when cutting away downed trees.
Flood (River Review): River has not been revisited since August.
Trail Markers: Area too muddy to place.
New Members: Looking for interest in membership.
Old Business
Wicket Bridge Road identified and discussed further, as well as exchanges of ideas for use by residents of the various resources within the Town.
New Business
Member Janice told of CT Farm Land Trust Natural Resources Preservation Committee activity and Agriculture Viability Grants Programs. She will look into “in kind hours” for matching grant money.
