Wednesday, November 30, 2005
CALL TO ORDER AND ATTENDANCE
The meeting was called to order by Tom Clynch at 7:10 p.m. The following members were present Dick Sherman, Cal Myers, Gil Hayes, Mary Buckley, Gary Mazzone, Andy Ouelette. Steve Andrusco, Jim Barton and Peter Waraska as well as the First Selectman, Linda Roberts.
PREVIOUS MEETING MINUTES
The minutes of the previous meeting of October 27, 2005 were reviewed by all present. A motion was made by Peter Waraska, seconded by Andy Ouelette to accept the minutes as presented.

NEW BUSINESS
A) 2006 Meeting Dates
The proposed meeting dates for 2006 were discussed among the membership present. A motion was made by Gary Mazzone, seconded by Andy Ouelette to accept the 2006 meeting dates as presented.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A) Radio Project Update
The Co-chairman Tom Clynch presented the latest memo from Ed Endee regarding the radio project (see attached copy). Everything is progressing nicely with the project with most of the agencies already hooked up to the new system. The rest should be done by the end of the week.
A motion was made by Peter Waraska, seconded by Gary Mazzone to accept the updated report as presented.

B) Emergency Operations Plan - review and update
The meeting was turned over to the First Selectman, Linda Roberts for the purposes of discussing the Emergency Operations Plan. Every member present received a paper copy of the Emergency Operations Plan and Ms. Roberts discussed with everyone present various parts of the Emergency Operations Plan. As no-one had brought an update for their particular area of expertise with them, Ms Roberts requested that all updates be forwarded to her office no later than the end of December which would give her office time to put in the updates (revisions) and have it ready for discussion at the January, 2006 Meeting.
A motion was made by Andy Ouelette, seconded by Peter Waraska to cancel the December 28, 2005 meeting of the Public Safety Committee due to the Christmas and New Years Holiday.

The next meeting of the Public Safety Meeting will be held on January 25, 2006 at Park Hill, Apt. 4
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Gary Mazzone, seconded by Tom Clynch to adjourn the special meeting of the Public Safety Committee at 7:50 p.m.
