EAST WINDSOR POLICE COMMISSION
AUGUST 29, 2007
OPENING:
The East Windsor Police Commission held a special meeting on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at the East Windsor Police Department for the purposes of Labor Negotiations.
Chairman Richard Sherman called the Special Meeting to order at 6:45 p.m.. Commission members present were: Richard Sherman, Linda Sinsigallo, Lorraine Devanney and James Barton. Commissioner Steve Knibloe was absent. Also in attendance were: First Selectman, Edward Filipone; Chief Edward DeMarco and Captain Roger Hart.
EXECUTIVE SESSION:
MOTION; Linda Sinsigallo made a motion to go into Executive Session with Edward Filipone, First Selectman; Edward DeMarco, Chief of Police and Roger Hart, Captain to be present. Seconded by Lorraine Devanney. Sinsigallo, Devanney, Barton voted to approve motion. Motion carried.
Came out of Executive Session at 8:23 p.m.
MOTION; Linda Sinsigallo made a motion to enter into contract with the Chief of Police, Edward DeMarco as negotiated on August 29, 2007. Seconded by James Barton. Sinsigallo, Devanney, Barton voted to approve motion. Motion carried.
Chairman Sherman and Chief DeMarco will meet with First Selectman Edward Filipone in the next few days to review changes to contract.
ADJOURNMENT:
Linda Sinsigallo made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by James Barton. Motion carried unanimously.
Chairman Sherman closed the Special Meeting at 8:30 p.m.
