EAST WINDSOR POLICE COMMISSION
MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING
TUESDAY, MARCH 20, 2007
OPENING:
Having a quorum present Chairman Richard Sherman called this special meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. at the Park Hill Residential Facility.
Commission members present: Richard Sherman, Linda Sinsigallo, Mark Simmons, James Barton and Lorraine Devanney. Also present was East Windsor Police Chief, Edward DeMarco.
This special meeting was called to hold an executive session for the purpose of interviewing four candidates for the position of Captain in the East Windsor Police Department.
MOTION: Linda Sinsigallo moved to go to Executive Session at 7:45 PM. This was seconded by Lorraine Devanney and carried unanimously.
MOTION: Linda Sinsigallo moved to come out of Executive Session at 10:26 PM. This was seconded by Lorraine Devanney and carried unanimously.
MOTION: Linda Sinsigallo moved to offer candidate Roger Hart the position of Captain in the East Windsor Police Department pending his successful completion of the rest of the hiring process. This was seconded by Mark Simmons and carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT:
Hearing of no further business to come before the Commission, Chairman Richard Sherman asked for a motion to adjourn. Mark Simmons moved to adjourn this special meeting. This motion was seconded by Linda Sinsigallo and carried unanimously.
Chairman Richard Sherman closed this meeting at 10:30 P.M.
