CALL TO ORDER AND ATTENDANCE
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairman Sherman. Commissioners Barton, Devanney, and Sinsigallo were present along with Chief DeMarco, and Maria-Diana Root, Administrative Assistant to the Chief. Commissioner Simmons was not present.
NEW BUSINESS
a) 2005/2006 Budget(s)
The meeting opened with a discussion of the memo from the Board of Selectman/Board of Finance dated January 5, 2005 regarding the possible 5% reduction on all budgets.
East Windsor Police Commission
The budget for the East Windsor Police Commission for the fiscal year 2005/2006 was reviewed by all Commissioners present and all questions answered.
A motion was made by Commissioner Sinsigallo, seconded by Commissioner Devanney to accept the proposed 2005/2006 Budget for the East Windsor Police Commission to include a letter to the Board of Finance regarding the possible 5% reduction on the budget. If the reduction becomes mandatory a meeting of the East Windsor Police Commission will be canceled.

East Windsor Police Department
The preliminary budget for the East Windsor Police Department for the fiscal year 2005/2006 was reviewed by all Commissioners present. There were some suggested changes and this budget will be resubmitted at the next Special Meeting of the East Windsor Police Commission scheduled for Wednesday, February 9th at 6:30 p.m..
ADJOURNMENT
A motion was made by Commissioner Sinsigallo, seconded by Commissioner Devanney to adjourn the Special Meeting of the East Windsor Police Commission at 8:45 p.m.
