TOWN OF EAST WINDSOR
BOARD OF FINANCE MEETING
October 18, 2006
The Board of Finance meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. at the East Windsor Town Hall.

The following Motion was presented at this meeting:
Motion: To recommend to Town Meeting a transfer of $85,000 from Contingency 2 account number 1-01-50-8410-8-950-00000 divided into $31,000 put into the Overtime Fixed account #1-01-15-2145-1-102-00000 and $54,000 put into the Overtime Variable account #1-01-15-2145-1-103-00000 respectively.

VOTE: Unanimous
Discussion: The public should know that this should not be voted down based on principle, but that we moved that money to the contingency fund to get a better handle on the overtime and the intention was to release it. By no means does it mean that they are getting a greater budget. Technically, this is not an appropriation, there is no additional money in excess of anything. This money was clearly marked for their budget. The Board of Finance wants the public to understand that.
