ETHICS COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA
MARCH 19, 2008


I.TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
        Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at 6:30 PM at town Hall       

Chairman Bob Cotiaux called the meeting to order at 6:29 PM

II. ATTENDANCE

Bob Cotiaux, Chairman
Jim Richards
Matt Crossen
David Menard, Secretary
Denise Menard, First Selectman
Dale Nelson, Former Ethics Commission Chairman, Town Selectman as an advisor

III. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion made by Matt Crossen to accept the minutes at 6:31 PM
Motion seconded by Jim Richards
Motion Carried

IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
        Pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes 1-200 (6) (A)

Motion made by Bob Cotiaux to go into executive session at 6:35 PM
Motion seconded Matt Crossen




The following people were included in the executive session.

ADJOURNED EXECUTIVE SESSION at 6:49 PM

Motion to vote on whether there was an Ethics Violation or not was made by Jim Richards
Motion seconded by Matt Crossen

It is the committee’s unanimous decision that the letters submitted did not provide sufficient evidence to substantiate the claim of an ethics violation as set forth by the Town of East Windsor Code of Ethics.

V. ADJOURMENT

Motion made by Matt Crossen to adjourn the meeting at 6:57 PM
Motion seconded by David Menard

Meeting Adjourned at 6:58 PM

Next Meeting is scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Town Annex

NOTE: A registered letters have to be sent to both parties letting the know the
         Commission’s decision within 3 days.
