I. Call Meeting To Order
The Chairman called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m.
II. Attendance : Richard LeBorious, Chairman, Ed Filipone, John Parda, Joe Roberts, Noreen Farmer, Peter Nevers, Kathy Bilodeau, Ralph Saunders
Unable to attend: Cliff Nelson

· Communication from residents Richard and Barbara Sherman dated March 11, 2005
· Memo from Richard LeBorious dated April 22, 2005, enclosing draft East Granby Charter
· Police Commission letter dated April 21, 2005
VI. Previous Minutes
a. April 11, 2005 Regular Meeting
MOTION: To accept the April 11, 2005 regular meeting minutes, with the following correction: John Parda was not present at the meeting

VII. Continued Review Of Charter And Discussion Of Potential Revision(s)
· Status of public forum on May 26, 2005
Ms. Farmer received signed confirmation for use of the High School Cafeteria on May 26, 2005. Figures for the cost of the refreshments will be presented at the next meeting. The Charter Revision Commission Flyer announcing the forum was reviewed and finalized. Discussions ensued regarding the several upcoming events that the Charter Flyer can be distributed at. Costs of printing the flyer were discussed and the Commission will work on the best avenue to take in this regard and report back at the next meeting.
Community Day is May 7 and the Commission will have a table there to inform the public of the Charter Revision forum and to field any general charter revision questions. A suggestion box will be available for residents to submit their comments. Any questions received on a suggestion card can be asked by the Commission at the forum. Mr. Filipone, Mr. Roberts, Mr. Nevers and Ms. Farmer will coordinate times to staff the table throughout Community Day.
Speakers at the forum will be Professor Moran (confirmed), Bonnie Therien (confirmed), Linda Roberts (confirmed), Manager and First Selectmen of East Granby (tentative).
The night of the forum the members are asked to be there for 6:30 to help set up. The forum will be taped for cable access t.v. and set up for the recording will be done by the same crew who does the Charter Revision meetings.
· General review
Commissioners are reviewing the materials they continue to receive and will commence the general review after the forum.
