BUILDING COMMITTEE MEETING
TUESDAY, APRIL 22, 2008
I. TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
Building Committee Chairman Cliff Nelson called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in the East Windsor Town Hall Annex.
II. ATTENDANCE
Present at the meeting were Committee Members Jim Thurz, Steve Pilch, Peter Sanders, Joe Sauerhoefer, Elzear Rodrigue and Jim Borrup. Also present were First Selectman Denise Menard and Building Official Rand Stanley.
Absent: Stan Kement and Joe Pellegrini
III. NEW BUSINESS
A. Town Hall Annex – Storage and/or Additional Office Space
A walk-through in the old school area was conducted by Ms. Menard to survey the feasibility of converting old classrooms into storage areas for various town agencies. The Building Committee will get cost estimates on performing work to get this done by the next regular meeting on May 12, 2008.
A walk-through was also conducted in the gym area to see the possibility of converting some of that space into offices for various town agencies. Ms. Menard will survey various town agencies to see what is needed.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Joe Sauerhoefer, seconded by Peter Sanders, it was unanimously
