MINUTES OF AUGUST 27, 2007
I. TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
The meeting began at 7:32 p.m. East Windsor Board of Education conference room.
II. ATTENDANCE
Present: Chairman Ken Crouch, Steve Pilch, Jim Thurz, Elzear Rodrigue and Cliff Nelson. Also present were Superintendent Howes and Recording Secretary Slate and John Aulisio, EDM
ABSENT: Skip Kement, Peter Sanders, Joseph Pellegrini
III. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
John Aulisio, EDM, discussed his proposal. The discussion included the domestic hot water breakout and the architect fees. The proposal is for an oil-fired burner. Gas may be used for domestic hot water.
The committee discussed the proposals from JH Architects and EDM. The consensus was to hire EDM.
Upon motion by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Rodrigue, it was unanimously
VOTED: To hire EDM as architect for the High School boiler project
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Rodrigue, it was unanimously
VOTED: To adjourn at 8:20 p.m.
