February 19, 2009
I. TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
Lori Gabriel called the meeting to order on Thursday February 19, 2008 at 6:37 p.m. at the Park Hill Committee Room, located off Windsorville Road, Broad Brook.

MOTION: To accept the regular meeting minutes of
January 15, 2008, as submitted.
Made by Linda Ritter, seconded by Lori Gabriel. All voting members in favor.

VI. OLD BUSINESS
A. MCM Fundraising-Butter Braids and Cookie Dough Fundraiser
Talked about Prizes and Picking up Slips and Bike.
B. Update on Website and Sphere of Influence, Friends and Family Emails.
Talked about adding a Thermometer to the website to show public
Money Raised to Date.
C. Meeting with Senator. Talked about what town youths needs are.
D. Culligan Bottles. Talked about distribution and collection of bottles.
VII. NEW BUSINESS
A. St. Patrick’s Evening Event.-Elaine’s Pizza- Saturday, March 14th ,9pm
Discussed raffles and prizes.
B. Mohegan Sun Bus Trip-Saturday, March 28th 10-6pm Departing at 10am from Golden Gavel Parking Lot, Rt. 140 arriving home at 6pm $30 a ticket
Includes Free Buffet and 3-$5 Betting Slips.
C. Sunday Breakfast with some type of Character at the High School.
D. Raffle Tickets for 50” Flat Screen TV.
E. Golf Event on hold too involved.
E. Ideas for Future Fundraisers.

VII. ADJOURNMENT
MOTION: to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. made by Linda Ritter, seconded by
Barbara Fitzsimonds.
