BMX/SKATEBOARD PARK MEETING MINUTES
August 21, 2008
I. TIME AND PLACE OF MEETING
Lori Gabriel called the meeting to order on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 6:43 p.m. at the Park Hill Committee Room, located off Windsorville Road, Broad Brook.

Regular meeting minutes of July 17, 2008.
MOTION: To accept the regular meeting minutes of June 19, 2008, as submitted.
Made by Linda Ritter, seconded by Chris Arre. All voting members in favor.
Motion carried.

VI. OLD BUSINESS
A. Culligan Water Bottles. Discussion of New Locations and Current Pickups. Selling
T-shirts at One Location with Water Bottle.
B. Chris & Eve Arre Website & E-mail Update Status; Added Upcoming Event s.
C. Sam Buca’s –All You Can Eat Event
1. Bring Tickets.
2. Door Prizes & Raffle Prize
3. Linda & Kids to bake desserts
D. Grants- Email or Call Representatives of the State to reach out for help with grants.
VII. NEW BUSINESS
Future Fundraising-Calendar of Events.
1. Next Event; Concert at Scout Hall. Find out Capacity, Advance of Tickets,
Create Flyer, Need 20+ Chaperons.
2. October Events-Little Italy at K of C Saturday, October 25th
Managing Communications: Thank you’s handled by Patty Donohue, changes made to donation letter, print and distribute to members.
Display Fundraising Progress; Four boards are cut out, need painting and displaying.
Barbara Fitzsimonds will look into arranging Friendly’s Night Out Fundraising Event.
Lori Gabriel will look into Local Committees, Clubs, and Groups etc. To attend.

MOTION: to adjourn at 8:19 p.m. made by Barbara Fitzsimonds, seconded by
Chris Arre.
