MEETING BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS
Saturday, January 28, 2006
8:00 A.M.
Mr. Lenegan called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m. at the East Windsor Town Hall, 11 Rye Street, Broad Brook.
ATTENDANCE: James Lenegan, Chairman, Marilyn Butenkoff, and Elaine Stevens
PREVIOUS MINUTES
Cynthia Croxford, Recording Secretary, presented the September, 2005, minutes to the Board.
MOTION: To accept the September, 2005, minutes as submitted.
Made by Ms. Butenkoff, seconded by Ms. Stevens.
ALL MEMBERS IN FAVOR. MOTION CARRIED.
2. To review and accept the Application regarding the appeals that will be filed in connection with real, personal and motor vehicle properties as it pertains to the Grand List of October, 2005 and the Supplemental Motor Vehicle List of 2004.
Ms. Madore submitted an application with changes made for ease in applicant filing.
MOTION: To accept the Application as presented.
Made by Ms. Stevens, seconded by Ms. Butenkoff
ALL MEMBERS IN FAVOR. MOTION CARRIED.
The Board will meet on Monday, March 20, 2006 at 5:30 p.m. to set the specific appointments for the appeal applications received.
The Board discussed in detail the hearings to be scheduled. By consensus the Board agreed it will hold hearings on the following dates:
Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 8:00 a.m.
Monday, April 3, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.
If needed: April 17, April 19 and April 20, 2006 at 5:30 p.m.
The appointments are to be set at 15-minute intervals.
The legal notice will be published in the Journal Inquirer on February 15, 2006.
