OLD BUSINESS
Two Parcels on Park Avenue/Main Street (Route 5 North)
Assistant Corporation Counsel Rich Gentile initiated a general discussion of the project and the town’s discussions with the State of Connecticut. Public Works Director Tim Bockus explained his involvement with the state’s remediation of the site and his knowledge of the state’s actions on this project. Mr. Bockus recalled the state removing the tanks on the site and remediating the site, although the state appears to have no records on the project. Attorney Gentile opined that the parcel is important to the town. The possibility of having a Phase II environmental study was discussed.
No further action taken at this time.
