NEW BUSINESS
Maple Street Culvert Replacement Easement Acquisitions
Tim Bockus, Acting Public Works Director, gave the Committee a brief overview of the Maple Street reconstruction project.

to recommend that the Town Council accept the following easement and
drainage rights agreements as more particularly shown on various maps
showing Project No. 2854-17, entitled: EASEMENT MAP DEPICTING
PROPOSED DRAINAGE EASEMENTS IN FAVOR OF THE TOWN OF
EAST HARTFORD MAPLE STREET CULVERT EAST HARTFORD,
CONNECTICUT:
- Permanent Easement, 117 Maple Street, Property of Ms. Diane R. Porter
- Permanent and Temporary Easement, 139 Maple Street, Property of the Estate of Joan F. Porter
- Permanent and two Temporary Easements, 132 Maple Street, Property of Robert and Maryanna Tsolas
- Permanent and two Temporary Easements, 140 Maple Street, Property of Vidal and Gregoria San Martin
Motion carried 3/0.
OLD BUSINESS
Update – 113 Tolland Street Rear
Assistant Corporation Counsel Rich Gentile stated that he has not heard back from the owner of 113 Tolland Street, but will make one more attempt to contact the owner.
In further discussions, Attorney Gentile provided updates on the following:
9 Montague Circle
Marlene Schaeffer, 21 Montague Circle, an abutting property owner, inquired on the status of 9 Montague Circle. Tim Bockus, Acting Public Works Director, will contact her with the town’s plan to maintain the property.
3 Saunders Street
Attorney Gentile reported that the town is moving forward with the acquisition of this property. A closing on the property is anticipated for July 2011, but could be delayed until the end of the year if the current tenants have not vacated the property.
