Decisions of the June 26, 2014 Public Hearing
At a public hearing held by the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town Council Chambers at 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., where the following applications were heard and acted upon:
Ted Hsu, 250 Governor Street, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-3)[Postponed from the May 29, 2014 meeting](Appeal denied by a vote of 3-2)
Aaliyah Miller and Karim Hadjsalem, 81 Cheney Lane, Requests a variance from Section 302.5(a) Yards, to build a porch on the front of the house requiring a 9 ft. front yard variance. (Zone R-2) (Approved by a vote of 5-0)
Stephen Tessier, agent for Todd Associates, 808 Silver Lane, Requests a variance from Section 222.1(c)(1) Distance requirements for Alcoholic Liquors, to permit alcohol in an existing restaurant, next to another existing restaurant already having alcohol within the same building. (Zone B-6) (Denied by a vote of 3-2)
