Decisions of the April 24, 2014 Public Hearing
At a public hearing held by the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town Council Chambers at 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 7:30 p.m., where the following applications were heard and acted upon:
Christine Foley, agent for Robert E. Peary LLC, 17 Wind Road, Requests a variance from Sections 205.3 Reconstruction of Nonconforming Structures, 220 Nonconforming Lots and 214.2 Accessory Structures, in order to rebuild these nonconforming buildings should they be destroyed. (Zone R-3)[Approved by a vote of 5-0]
Marc Rienow, agent for Gengras Motor Cars, 585 Connecticut Boulevard, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-3)[Appeal denied by a vote of 4-1]
Adebayo Law, LLC, agent for PTMM, LLC, 360 Burnside Avenue, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-1) [Appeal denied by a vote of 5-0]
Josephine Portal, agent for Harbison Properties, LLC, 499-501 Main Street, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-2) [Appeal denied by a vote of 5-0]
Michael Gainer, agent for Golden Lane, LLC, 306 Silver Lane, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-2) [Appeal denied by a vote of 4-1]
Anne Bjorkland, agent for Hoffman Enterprises, 600 Connecticut Blvd., is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-3) [Appeal denied by a vote of 5-0]
Michael Podgurski, agent for Rite Aid of Connecticut, Inc., 329 Ellington Road., is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Enforcement Official to remove a metal storage container. (Zone B-1)[The appeal was withdrawn by the applicant]
