Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Yves Michaud, 63 Shawnee Road, is appealing the order of the Assistant Zoning Official, to remove a pickup truck that is larger than permitted under Section 214.1(b)(2). (Zone R-6)[Tabled from the March 28, 2013 meeting]
Christopher Otis, 87 Montague Circle, Requests a variance from Sections 214.2(c)&(e) to permit an addition to a detached garage of 280 sq. ft. requiring a variance of 220 sq. ft. and 5 ft. ft from the side property line requiring a variance of 1 ft. (Zone R-3)
Ken Wilson, agent for BIGSON II, LLC dba Equipment Service, 14-16 George Street, Requests a variance from Sections 404.2(s)(2) to eliminate required landscaped islands and 209.3 Areas of Required Parking, requesting a variance of 26 required parking spaces. (Zone B-3)
Valdith McGann, 35-37 Leichtner Drive, Requests a variance form Sections 304.4 Lot Area per Dwelling Unit and 205.3 Reconstruction of Non-Conforming Structures to permit the rebuilding of a 2 family dwelling should it be destroyed by more than 50%. (Zone R-4)
