Decisions of the October 27, 2011 Public Hearing

At a public hearing held by the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals in the Town Council Chambers at 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., the following applications were heard and acted upon:
Michael Orobello, 144 Melton Drive, Requests a variance from Section 302.5(c) Yards, to permit building of a rear deck attached to the house 17 feet from the rear property line requiring a variance of 23 feet. (Zone R-2)[Approved by a vote of 4-0]
John Williams, 285 Long Hill Street, Requests a variance from Section 214.2(e) Accessory Structures to permit a shed 240 sq. ft. making the total of all accessory structures 1032 sq. ft. requiring a variance of 252 sq. ft. (Zone R-2)[Postponed to the December 3, 2011 meeting]
