Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Anita Gold, agent for, 1375 Silver Lane, Requests a variance from Section 210.5(a) Signs, to permit a change of business signage in a residential zone. (Zone R-2)
Kapil Taneja, 1210 Main Street, Requests a variance from Section 210.6(d) Signs, to permit a 3rd business sign. (Zone CDR)
Mark Fey, agent for, 148 Roberts Street, Requests a variance from Section 502.1 Permitted Uses, to permit an “Adult Day Care” facility. (Zone I-2)
Bret Bowin, agent for, 151 Roberts Street, Requests a variance from Section 502.1 Permitted Uses, to permit expansion of the tennis courts to include 6 squash courts. (Zone I-2)
Capitol Studios, agent for, 1475 Silver Lane, Requests a variance from Section 205.1(b) Nonconforming Uses, to eliminate the existing nonconforming auto repair and expand the retail sales area for a convenience store. (Zone R-2)
