Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Robert Hamilton, 1602 Main Street, Requests a variance from Section 210.5(c)(2) to permit a business sign within 1 foot of the property line. (Zone B-1)
Wayne Gerlt (agent for Mitchell Real Estate, LLC), 79 George Street (82 James Street), Requests a variance from Sections 404.4(b) Yards, 209.1(a) & (c) Parking and 205.2 Enlargement of nonconforming structures to build an addition within 5 ft. of the property line, to park in the required front yard and to expand the roofline upward of the existing damaged building. (Zone B-3)
