Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Robert DeCrescenzo, agent for Taco Bell of America, for 1 Main Street, Requests a variance from Section 228.2(h) General Requirements for Dive-Through Facilities, to permit a “menu board” of 45 sq. ft., 25 sq. ft. over the permitted 20 sq. ft. (Zone B-1)[Postponed from the April 29, 2010 meeting]   
Gary Desai, agent for Pleasant Valley Homes, Inc. & Satyam Realty, LLC, 333 Roberts Street, Requests a variance from Section 200 Definitions – “Hotel”, to permit cooking facilities in 17 rooms for rent. (Zone B-1)[Postponed from the April 29, 2010 meeting]
Bernard and Jerri Sayers, 92 Spruce Drive, Request a variance from Section 209.1(a) Parking Regulations, to widen the driveway to 20 feet at the curb. (Zone R-2)
Subby Magro, 163 Hills Street, Requests a variance from Section 302.5(a) Yards, to erect a house 26 feet from the front property line, requiring a 14 foot variance. (Zone R-2)
Cumberland Farms Inc., 379 Ellington Road, Requests variances from Sections 210.5(c)(1) & (2) and 210.6(d) and (h), permitting a total of 235.4 sq. ft. for the site, including a ground sign of 48 sq. ft.. 4 business signs and permitting the logo to extend above the gas pump canopy fascia. (Zone I-2)
