July 30, 2009 Meeting
Public Notice is hereby given that the East Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut, on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., when the following applications will be heard:
Hsuan Hsiao, 9 Ambrose Terrace, Has modified the request for a variance from Section 304.5(c) Yards, to permit a deck within 5 feet of the rear property line. (Zone R-4)[Continued from the June 25, 2009 meeting]
Goodwin College Inc., 211 Riverside Drive a.k.a 1 Riverside Drive, Requests variances from Sections 210.5(c)(1) and 210.6(d) Signs, to permit a 5th sign on the river (west) side of the campus, and increasing the square footage by 141.4 square feet. (Zone I-3).
Peter Millar, 544 Tolland Street, Requests a variance from Sections 404.2 Special Permitted Uses and 205.3 Reconstruction Nonconforming Structures, to permit the rebuilding of this multi-family dwelling in this zone as well as in the same footprint, should it be destroyed more than 50%.(Zone B-3)
