A Regular Meeting of the East Hartford REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY was held in the second floor conference room B, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on Wednesday, March 19, 2014
CALL TO ORDER
- The meeting was called to order at 6:07PM by Chairperson Pearson

MOTION by Mr. Ryan, seconded by Mr. Matta to approve the minutes

- Gerry Maine gave us his re-appointment letter for our files.
- Updates on 550-560 Burnside Avenue -Ms. Laramie shared Eileen Buckheit is speaking to a couple of interested parties – one for a small grocer, another was exploring an Orkin franchise building.~ Both are only in exploratory stages.~ No plans to bid it out at this time.~ We are also waiting for a definite on Housing Authority plans and timing.
- Burnside Avenue façade program – Ms. Laramie shared we have confirmed that we have $100,000 remaining for the façade program and our goal is to relaunch the program this year. We are creating new brochures and guidelines which will correspond with plans we have for a façade program in the CBD.
UTC news – Ms. Laramie shared new Pratt headquarters to be built and possible outlet center.~ No more information on outlet center is available.~ We do not have a timeline on Pratt construction yet, but they have stated that they hope to have the building ready in 2016.
