PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
JANUARY 9, 2013
A Regular Session Meeting of the EAST HARTFORD PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION was held in the Town Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on January 9, 2013.
The meeting was called to order at 7:42 p.m.
ROLL CALL

CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Anthony Kayser declared a quorum present. Chairman Kayser acknowledged new alternate Commissioner Amy Sawyer, and introduced her to the Commission. Chairman Kayser stated that Mary Whaples would be voting in place of Tom Fitzgerald and Amy Sawyer would be voting in place of the vacant Republican seat. Additionally, Chairman Kayser stated that the Commission would be voting with seven members.

Upon a motion by Paul Roczynski, seconded by Peter Bonzani, the Commission Voted (6-0) to Approve the above minutes.

SPECIAL PERMIT USE APPLICATION – Under section 404.2 to allow the installation of a non-profit donation drop-off box on property located at 386 Prospect Street.

Upon a motion by Mary Whaples, seconded by Kathy Salemi, the Commission Voted (7-0) to Approve the site bond release in the amount of $16,900.00.

Upon a motion by Paul Roczynski, seconded by Travis Simpson, the Commission Voted (7-0) to Approve the site bond release in the amount of $17,750.00.

Upon a motion by Travis Simpson, seconded by Paul Roczynski, the Commission Voted (7-0) to Approve the site bond release in the amount of $11,900.00.

REVIEW OF DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE UPDATE OF THE PLAN OFCONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Staff provided the Commission with an update on the status of the consultant interview process.

Upon a motion by Paul Roczynski, seconded by Pete Bonzani, the Commission Voted (7-0) to Adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:54 p.m.
