INLAND WETLANDS - ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD

The meeting was called to order at 7:37 PM the in the Town Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of the East Hartford Town Hall.

Commissioners Rivera and Gero entered approximately two minutes after the Chairman called the meeting to order.
Also present: Denise Horan, Town Engineer
Chairman Judith Shanahan made Alt. Cmsr. Watkins a voting member.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Cmsr. Watkins moved to APPROVE the November 22nd, 2011 regular meeting minutes.

NEW BUSINESS
- Application #2012-001 for Goodwin College to conduct a regulated activity within an inland wetland area adjacent to the Connecticut River to replace an existing picnic pavilion and appurtenances located at 10 South Meadow Lane which is an unimproved roadway to the west of High Street.

- Application #2012-002 for Kaoud Real Estate Development, LLC to transfer wetland permit number 2011-001 to Silver and Forbes LLC for the construction of a pharmacy with a drive-though and appurtenances within an inland wetland upland review area located at 972 Silver Lane and 403 Forbes Street.

The Commission did not deem this a significant activity
Cmsr. O’Dea moved to approve the application (File #2012-002) with the following condition:
- The permit is transferred to Silver and Forbes LLC with all of the original approval conditions of permit #2011-001.
- Application #2012-003 for Bruce M. Dana to conduct a regulated activity within an inland wetland and inland wetland upland review area to regrade a backyard and place soil to properly drain stormwater on a property located at 200 Ridgewood Road.
