INLAND WETLANDS - ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

1) Call To Order: Scheduled for 7:30 PM in the Town Hall, 2nd Floor Main Conference Room, East Hartford.

2) Approval of the Minutes: October 27th, 2009 meeting.

3) Old Business:

A) File # 2009-024:
        Application by The Town of East Hartford to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands buffer zone in conjunction with the 2009-2010 Pavement Rehabilitation, activities include bituminous overlays, pavement reclamation, handicap ramps, catch basins repairs, utility upgrades.  Project is located at Collimore Rd., Goodwin St., Hillside St., Roberts St., and Sedgwick Rd.


4) New Business:

A) File #2009-025:
Application by Goodwin College to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands buffer zone in conjunction with the construction of a modular building and appurtenant parking and utility connections.  The project is located at 133 & 195 Riverside Drive.

B) File #2009-026:
        Application by The Willows, LLC to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands buffer zone in conjunction with the installation of sanitary sewer   mains, water mains, associated lateral connections, and repaving of existing roadways.  The project is located at 441 Main Street.
C) File #2009-027:
        Application by the Pratt & Whitney division of United Technologies Corporation to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands and the Inland Wetland buffer zone in conjunction with subsurface soil exploration, monitoring well installation, and minor brush clearing associated with an environmental assessment.  The project is located at One Pent Road.

D) File #2009-028:
        Application by Pratt & Whitney to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands and the Inland Wetland buffer zone in conjunction with beaver dam removal activities, woody growth removal, and repair of erosion to maintain the Willow Brook watercourse.  The project is located at 400 Main Street.
