WETLANDS – ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 the Town of East Hartford’s Inland Wetlands-Environment Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the following application:
Application 2014-007 of United Technologies Corporation to conduct a regulated activity in the inland wetlands and inland wetland upland review area for the relocation of two stormwater outfalls via construction of a new pipeline to discharge to Willow Brook at 400 Main Street, East Hartford. Activities include the new conveyance for outfall #DSN 004 via construction of new weir wall within an existing structure; installation of a new 48-inch reinforced concrete pipeline, and a 4 x 3 foot box culvert. Activities also include new conveyance for outfall # DSN 003 via construction a new cast-in-place transition structure; installation of a reinforced concrete 4 x 6 foot box culvert and transition structure. Work will also include restoration of all disturbed areas.
The Public Hearing will be held in the Town Hall Council Chambers, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut and is scheduled to begin at 7:00 P.M.
A copy of the application, maps, and supporting documents for the above-mentioned project are on file in the Town Clerk’s office for review by interested parties. Written comments on any of the above should be directed to and received by the Inland Wetlands-Environment Commission at the Town Hall, 740 Main Street, East Hartford, Connecticut on or before the public hearing date.
