INLAND WETLANDS - ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD

1) Call To Order: Scheduled for 7:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of the East Hartford Town Hall.

2) Approval of the minutes for the May 22, 2012 public hearing and regular session meeting.

3) Old Business:

  • Application #2012-012 for Matthew Betton to conduct a regulated activity within an inland wetland upland review area.  The regulated activity involves the construction of an attached garage addition to a single family home and appurtenant work on a property located at 88 Hickory Drive.
  • Application #2012-013 for Raymond Fortin to conduct a regulated activity within an inland wetland upland review area.  The regulated activity involves the construction of a single family home and appurtenances on a property located adjacent to #762 Hills St which is a lot approved from the subdivision wetland application # 2011-011.

4) New Business:

  • Application #2012-016 for RA East Hartford, LLC to modify existing inland wetland permit number 2011-010 for the construction of a pharmacy with drive through which was approved by the Commission on May 24, 2011.  The modification is proposed within the inland wetland upland review area and is comprised of changing the location of the proposed sanitary lateral connection from a point within School Street to a point within Ellington Road.  The subject property is located at 329 Ellington Road and construction of the pharmacy is underway.
  • Application #2012-017 for Goodwin College/CT River Academy to conduct a regulated activity within the inland wetland and inland wetland upland review area adjacent to the Connecticut River.  The regulated activity involves the work associated with the replacement of an existing pier.  The subject property is located at 1-5 Riverside Drive on which the construction of a high school is underway.
