INLAND WETLANDS - ENVIRONMENT COMMISSION OF
THE TOWN OF EAST HARTFORD

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

1) Call To Order: Scheduled for 7:30 PM in the Town Council Chambers, East Hartford Town Hall.
2) Approval of the Minutes: August 25th, 2009 meeting.
                                                                                                                                            
3) Old Business:


A) File # 2009-017
Application of Kleinfelder East, Inc., to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands buffer zone in conjunction with demolition of the former Mobil gas station, located at No. 1083 Burnside Ave. Other modifications to the site include the removal of impacted soils, and associated grading with the restoration of the site.  

B) File # 2009-019
        Application of The Metropolitan District, to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands Buffer zone in conjunction with the repair of a 36-inch transmission main, located in the rear of 61 Floradale Dr.

C) File # 2009-020
        Application of Antonio Carreiro, to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands Buffer Zone in conjunction with the expansion of farming activities, other modification include 2 wetlands crossing and associated grading.


4) New Business:
        A) File # 2009-021
        Application of Goodwin College, to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands Buffer zone in conjunction with removal of contaminated soil 12-16 feet below grade, area to be backfilled with clean fill to existing grade, located at 195 Riverside Drive.
        
        B) File # 2009-022
        Application of Goodwin College, to conduct a regulated activity within the Inland Wetlands Buffer zone in conjunction with removal of contaminated soil 0-4 feet below grade, area to be backfilled with clean fill to existing grade, located at 133 Riverside Drive.

B) File # 2009-023
