CALL TO ORDER
A Regular Meeting of the East Hartford Economic Development Commission was called to order at 6:09 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 by EDC Commissioner Marilyn Pet, Chair.

- CCAT (221 Pitkin Street, EH) – Wednesday, March 15, 2011 5:00 p.m.
- Mr. Choquette spoke about the addition of 15 lights along Main Street
Ms. Lash spoke about a proposed Business Improvement District which would give property owners in a targeted area the opportunity to vote on how an additional tax would be used for the betterment of their specific area of town.
- MetroHartford Alliance Member Benefits
- John Shemo and Becky Nolan of the Alliance spoke to EDC members on the advantages of being members of the MetroHartford Alliance. Commissioners were informed that municipal employees and local government officials may take part in certain programs at no cost.
- Mr. Choquette and Ms. Beckles presented the proposed budget
- An unofficial recommendation was made by the Commission which will be submitted to the Town Council

- Mr. Choquette commented on current business growth within East Hartford
