   BOARD OF SELECTMEN AGENDA

ACTION ITEMS


1. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from the June 30, 2014 Board of Selectmen’s Executive Session meeting.

2. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from the July 14, 2014 Board of Selectmen’s Executive Session meeting.

3. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from the August 25, 2014 regularly scheduled Board of Selectmen’s meeting.

4. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the request from Janet Cheney of Janet’s Ribbons of Hope for Breast Cancer Research to “paint the Town Pink” by allowing pink ribbons to be hung on the telephone poles around town to be displayed throughout the month of October to raise money and awareness of breast cancer.

5. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the request from Chuck Horan from the East Bridgewater Kiwanis Club to display American Flags on the Town Common from November 1, 2014 through November 15, 2014.

6. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the recommendation from the Finance Committee to appoint new members to the Finance Committee, to fill three vacancies, for the terms effective September 8, 2014 through: one effective through June 30, 2016 and two effective through June 30, 2017.

7. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the Transfer of Common Victualer License from: South Shore Pizza Inc. dba Domino’s Pizza, to: TBD Pizza, Inc. dba Domino’s Pizza located at 225 Bedford Street.

8. Board will vote to approve/disapprove, with regret, the resignation of John Morawski as a member of the East Bridgewater Council on Aging effective immediately.

9. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the request from Don Hudgins of 16 Porter Farm Road to have street lights installed on the following streets and pole numbers listed below:

A.  Pine Street – Pole #15 & Pole #10
B. Porter Farm Road – Pole #2 & Pole #5
C. Adams Lane – Pole #2

      All Trash and Recycling Must be out by 7:00 AM!

3.      The State Primary will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at the Jr/Sr High School.  Polling hours will be 7 AM to 8 PM. Please use the entrance to the left of the main entrance.  Voting will take place in the Gymnasium.  School will be in session on that day.  Any questions, please call the Town Clerk’s office at 378-1606.
