1. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from December 17, 2012 Board of Selectmen’s meeting.

2. Board will vote to approve/disapprove renewing the following Common Victualer License for the period ending December 31, 2013:

3. Board will vote to approve/disapprove renewing the following Licenses for the period ending January 1, 2014:

        Restrictions:

CLASS III LICENSES AND RESTRICTIONS

        Restrictions:   
1. All dismantling of parts/vehicles to be done within a building or on a concrete slab with oil, gas and other fluids being put in barrels.
2. A solid fence 8' in height on the front of the property and 100' back from street on both sides; entire property to be suitably fenced; all vehicles and parts to be stored within fenced area.
3. A 16' wide unobstructed access road shall be maintained 24 hours per day and shall also run from the rear of the building extending to the most southerly portion of the property. No vehicles to be stored or displayed within 10' of the building. 
        Hours: Monday - Saturday 8 am – 6 pm

    PENDING ISSUES
      
1. Eastern States Steel

                Report received; need to set up meeting with DEP
Eastern States Steel Site has been an ongoing issue for over a decade.  The taxes on the site have been unpaid for a number of years but the town has been reluctant to take possession of the property due to hazardous waste issues at the site.  The town has currently engaged a number of lawyers, as well as representatives of the D.E.P. and O.C.P.C., to find a solution in both cleaning up the site and its ultimate taking by the town.  This process, most likely, will not see fruition for several years.
