ACTION ITEMS


1. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from the April 12, 2011 Board of Selectmen’s meeting.

2. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes of the April 5, 2011 meeting of the Water Commissioners.

3. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the minutes from the April 5, 2011 meeting of the Board of Selectmen in Executive Session.

4. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the request of Varis Ozols for use of the Town Common for the purpose of a wedding ceremony on May 28, 2011 from 12 pm to 4 pm.

5. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the request of Luis Lopes, Superintendent of Southeastern Regional School District to provide a signed letter of support from the Board of Selectmen pertaining to the SE Regional School District School Committee’s funding vote regarding its MSBA project, and that the letter contained the following language: Board voted “to take no action and not schedule a special town meeting within thirty (30) days.”

6. Board will vote to approve/disapprove the forwarding of a request to the Planning Board for a hearing from P.M.P. Associates, LLC on behalf of its clients CJW Realty Trust and Payton Realty Trust. The request is for an article to be placed on the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting pertaining to zoning.

2. Hazardous Waste Day will take place on April 30, 2011 at the drop-off location of 234 Thatcher Street from 8 am – 12 pm. For a complete list of items accepted, visit the DPW website at www.ebdpw.com, or obtain a list at the Town Hall.

3.      Town Hall is now equipped with a new security system in compliance with recommended safety measures. Residents are instructed to use only the main, center, handicapped-accessible entrance at the front of Town Hall. The public may exit from any door, however.
