Selectmen's Minutes 11/18/08
The weekly meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on Tuesday evening, November 18, 2008 at 7:30 p.m.

Present:        David L. Walsh, Chairman; Peter A. Hamilton, Clerk; Theresa McNulty
                Catherine Johnson, Administrative Assistant

East Bridgewater Pack 28 was present to participate in and witness a Board of Selectmen meeting.

Mr. Walsh welcomed the boys and encouraged them to participate in the meeting.

John Stanbrook, Town Accountant was present for a departmental update.  Mr. Stanbrook gave an overview of the state and happenings in his department.

Manual Leite, Library Director was present for a departmental update.  Mr. Leite gave an overview of the state and happenings in his department.

Action Items

M/Hamilton, s/McNulty, a unanimous vote, approve the minutes of the November 10, 2008 meeting.

M/Hamilton, s/McNulty, a unanimous vote, approve the request of Fire Chief Ryon Pratt to award the bid for a new Custom Rescue/Class A Pumper to Greenwood Emergency Vehicles/Emergency One in the amount of $383,511.00.

Board requests sending a letter to Council on Aging and Senior Center Building Committee to reschedule the 11/26/08 meeting to 12/2/08.

The Board remarked on the success of the Tri-Town Veteran’s Day Parade.

M/Hamilton, s/McNulty, a unanimous vote, move to close open session at 8:17 p.m.
