Pier, Access & Shoreline Study (PASS) Committee

Meeting came to order at 7:37 p.m.
Attendees: Bill TenHoor, Peter Roveto, Heidi Pape-Laird, Shawn Dahlen, John Hagerty, and Paul Brogna. Ted Devnew was absent.
1. Committee reviewed the plans from the Urban Harbor Institute (UHI).
A. Sheet 1, Existing Shoreline Conditions – added notes for Landings and Ways to the Water (as of 1975 report) – moved Powder Point Bridge off Abbott’s property
B. Sheet 2 Pier Build Alteration Analysis – general discussion took place on plan details.
C. Variable Buffer Analysis – Discussion on Peterson’s Landing, Hedberg (Bay Pond Road) and Kellywood took place.
2. Questions developed concerning renewal process and procedure. Questions also on “anywhere where affected parcels are partially or totally affected – remaining unaffected meets other requirements”. More discussion to follow.
3. Discussion on verifying Anchorage Lane location with few changes.
4. Next meeting June 12, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the Senior Center.
