Present: Andre Martecchini, Chair; Jon Witten, Vice-Chair, and Elizabeth Sullivan, Clerk.
Staff: Richard MacDonald, Town Manager; John Madden, Finance Director; and C. Anne Murray, Department Secretary.
At the end of the Open Session of the Board of Selectmen meeting Mr. Martecchini said that the Board would be voting to enter Executive Session for the purpose of reviewing Executive Session Minutes from January, 2007 – June, 2007 to determine if any could released and then would be returning to Open Session solely for the purpose of adjourning.
ENTERED EXECUTIVE SESSION
RE: REVIEW OF EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES from January 2007 – June 2007
Mr. Martecchini moved that the Board of Selectmen enter Executive Session for the purpose of review of Executive Session Minutes and to reconvene in Open Session after the conclusion of the Executive Session in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 39, Section 23B. Second by Ms. Sullivan. Roll Call Vote: Ms. Sullivan “aye”; Mr. Witten “aye”; Mr. Martecchini “aye”. VOTE: 3:0:0.
The Board of Selectmen reviewed a chart of the approved but still sealed Executive Session Minutes and copies of the Executive Session Minutes for the period from January, 2007 through June 25, 2007.
Ms. Sullivan made a motion that the Board of Selectmen vote to release the Executive Session Minutes of January 22, 2007 and March 19, 2007. Second by Mr. Martecchini.
Vote: 2:0:1. Mr. Witten abstained as he was not a seated Selectmen when those Executive Sessions occurred.
That concluded the business of the Executive Session.
ADJOURNED EXECUTIVE SESSION AND RE-CONVENED IN OPEN SESSION FOR ADJOURNMENT
At approximately 8:50 PM, Mr. Martecchini moved that the Board of Selectmen adjourn the Executive Session, with the intent to re-convene in Open Session for adjournment. Second by Ms. Sullivan. Roll Call Vote: Ms. Sullivan “aye”; Mr. Witten “aye”; Mr. Martecchini “aye”.
