Conservation Comm. Meeting - 2008/02-26
The Conservation Commission held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of Town Hall on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 beginning at 7:30 p.m.  Members present were Chairman Joseph Messina, Samuel Butcher, Thomas Gill, Dianne Hearn, and Barbara Kelley.  Holly Morris and Corey Wisneski were absent.  Joe Grady, Conservation Administrator was also present.  

CONT’D. PH, DUXBURY DPW, GENERAL MAINTENANCE, DRAINAGE, SE 18-1459
The DEP file number had been issued.  Mr. Butcher made a motion that was seconded to issue Orders of Conditions for maintenance of the town’s existing drainage system.  The vote was 5 – in favor; 0 – opposed.  Motion passed.

CONT’D PH, TURCOTTE, BAY RD., SE 18-1461, DELINEATION
The applicant requested a continuation of the public hearing.  Dr. Gill made a motion that was seconded to continue the public hearing to March 18, 2008 at 7:35 p.m.  The vote was 5 – in favor; 0 – opposed.  Motion passed.

PH, BRACKETT, 1 HARMONEY HILL, GARAGE, SE 18-1462
Representing the applicant were Chris Brackett and the property owner, Peter Leppanen.  The proposed project was construction of a garage addition in the buffer to a non-eroding coastal bank.  The project conforms to the regulations.  Dr. Gill made a motion that was seconded to issue Orders of Conditions for the garage addition.  The vote was 5 – in favor; 0 – opposed.  Motion passed.

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The Commission discussed the draft Aquaculture Management Plan.  Present for the discussion was John Brawley from the Duxbury Bay Management Committee.

The Commission reviewed the draft minutes of the meeting on 10/16/2007.  Mr. Butcher made a motion that was seconded to approve the minutes of the meeting on 10/16/2007 as written.  The vote was 5 – in favor; 0 – opposed.  Motion passed.

The Commission reviewed a request for Certificates of Compliances for SE 18-1394, 91 Partridge Rd.  Mr. Butcher made a motion that was seconded to issue Certificates of Compliances for SE 18-1394.  The vote was 5 – in favor; 0 – opposed.  Motion passed.
