Community Preservation Committee Meeting

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall on Thursday, April 8, 2010 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Members present included Chairman Holly Morris, Lynne Devnew, Tony Kelso, and Brendan Keohan. John Bear, Pat Loring and Sarianna Seewald were absent. Also present were Frank Mangione from Fiscal Advisory Committee and George Wadsworth from the Planning Board.

No subject was brought forth.
PROJECT UPDATE
Housing - Mr. Keohan gave a brief update on the Housing Assistance Program. The lottery agent has been approved by DHCD and the Town Manager will be signing the contract. Mr. Keohan added that South Shore Housing charges 3% of the contract and is not a member of DHCD.
Grange - Mr. Keohan reported that a meeting is to be arranged with Dennis Murphy, Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, regarding the Grange. It has not been determined whether the Grange will be two units or one.
OTHER BUSINESS
Mr. Wadsworth discussed recent tightening of water withdrawal permits.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The CPC reviewed and signed bills.
