Community Preservation Committee Meeting

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall on Thursday, January 28, 2010 beginning at 8:00 a.m.  Members present included Chairman Holly Morris, John Bear, Lynne Devnew, Tony Kelso, and Brendan Keohan.  Pat Loring and Sarianna Seewald were absent.  Also present were Joe Grady, Conservation Administrator, Frank Mangione from Fiscal Advisory Committee, and George Wadsworth from the Planning Board.

No subject was brought forth.

FUNDING REQUEST PROJECTS FOR 2010 ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
Ms. Morris and Mr. Mangione reported on the CPC meeting with Fiscal Advisory and Finance Committees on Thursday, January 22, 2010.  The CPC reviewed the status of each project.  The Committee is still waiting on the purchase and sales agreements for the two land acquisition projects.

The CPC discussed who would be presenting the proposed projects at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting on February 1, 2010.

ANNUAL PUBLIC FORUM
The CPC reviewed the agenda and who would be presenting projects.

PROJECT UPDATE
Alden House Windows – Mr. Grady reported the restriction document for the project was never signed by the Board of Selectmen and Town Counsel is working on completing that task.

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The CPC postponed action on the minutes of the last meeting because of lack of quorum.

The CPC signed the invoice for the Camp Wing conservation restriction stewardship with Wildlands Trust.
