Community Preservation Committee Meeting

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) held a meeting in the Mural Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall on Thursday, April 2, 2009 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Members present included Chairman Holly Morris, John Bear, Lynne Devnew, Tony Kelso and Brendan Keohan. Pat Loring and Sarianna Seewald were absent. Also present was Frank Mangione from Fiscal Advisory Committee.

HOUSING
Diane Bartlett, Chairman of the Local Housing Partnership reviewed the status of projects and tasks in the Affordable Housing Plan Planned Production Program.
TOWN MEETING RECAP
The CPC discussed the outcome of Annual Town Meeting.
OTHER
Mr. Kelso asked if the Conservation Administrator could report on future land acquisition possibilities at an upcoming CPC meeting.
ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
The CPC reviewed the draft minutes of the meeting on 2/5/2009. Mr. Bear made a motion that was seconded by Mr. Kelso.
Motion: to approve the minutes of the meeting on 2/5/2009 as drafted.
Vote: 4 – in favor; 0 – opposed; 1 – abstention (Keohan). Motion passed.
The CPC approved payment of two invoices (Duxbury Clipper, Town Counsel). The CPC postponed approval of two other invoices regarding Town Meeting from Town Counsel. The CPC needed clarification on which items pertained to the CPC.
Meeting adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
