Present: Diane Bartlett, Jody Hall, Tony Kelso, Art Vautrain, Holly Morris
Absent: George Wadsworth and Pat Loring
Ms. Morris gave an introduction on what has been accomplished by the CPC and the projects that are expected in the future. Ms. Morris commenced the discussion on the articles for the Annual Town Meeting with Article 5, the operating budget, and Article 31, the 10% distribution of receipts for the three purposes of CPA. Ms. Bartlett presented information on Article 32, the GIS digitizing project. Art Vautrain gave an explanation on Article 33, the transfer and reimbursement to the CPA fund for a portion of the Delano farm for water supply purposes.
Mrs. Rowley, 546 Washington St., asked why the Board of Health’s digitized material was not suitable for use at this time. Ms. Bartlett recollected that the system was dated, but that the committee would look into this further. Mrs. Mary Wilber, 41 Indian Trail, raised questions on the town’s budget proposal for Tarkiln. She added that the building is heavily used and should not be neglected.
