The “flip” from MA Health to the Island Health Plan was discussed, as was a “virtual health center” coordinated by the Health Council. There were questions about complementary medical services like acupuncture. Carla Bettano explained that the Plan could grow to include other services, but might start out without them. Chiropractic services are covered.
