4-CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Cindy Mitchell called the meeting to order at 7:30 AM and determined that a quorum was present. Attendees included: Terry Appenzellar, Tom Bennett, Julia Burgess, Olga Church, Sharon Clauss-Zanger, Jane Cleare, Liz DiCarlo, S. Patrick Donegan, Christopher Knowles, Sarah Kuh, Patsy McCormack, Paddy Moore, Jo Ann Murphy, Maxwell Nunes, Dan Pace, Sandra Polleys, Holly Schroeder, Krystin St. Onge, Susan Wasserman, Dedie Wieler, Terre Young, Winn Davis County Manager, and Jennifer Caton, Executive Assistant to record minutes.

MINUTES:
Paddy Moore / Terry Appenzellar Moved to approve the January 25, 2007 Minutes, So Voted, unanimous.
Patsy McCormack / Julia Burgess Moved to approve the February 22, 2007 Minutes, So Voted, 2 abstentions.
TREASURER’S REPORT:
Terry Appenzellar presented the Treasurer’s Report. Terry explained that all the accounts were reconciled and all transfers had been made.
Olga Church / Paddy Moore Moved to accept the Treasurer’s Report,So Voted, unanimous.
Coordinating / Nominating Committee Report
Coordinating Committee Election
Cindy Mitchell announced that the current sitting members of the Coordinating Committee would like to continue. She presented a slate of nominees to the Council consisting of Terry Appenzellar, Chris Knowles, Jane Clear, Olga Church, Cindy Mitchell, and Patsy McCormack / Deidi Wieler.
Terry Appenzellar / Olga Church Moved to approve the slate of candidates for the Coordinating Committee, Motion Withdrawn (after discussion)
Discussion on the Motion:
It was pointed out that not everyone had seen the list. Some felt there should be new member orientation before voting on the Coordinating Committee. Paddy Moore said that there should be a more formal nominating process to create more opportunity for others to participate. She said it was not healthy to assume that everyone that is on should stay on. Susan Wasserman suggested a rotating Coordinating Committee that would provide a broader view. Other recommendations that were made included that each year 2 people vacate their positions on the committee. Cindy Mitchell stated that the Coordinating Committee coordinates and is not an executive committee. She said it typically meets once or twice a month. Paddy Moore asked that the vote be postponed for a
month.
Orientation
Cindy Mitchell explained that the New Member Orientation would take place during the May meeting.
Deidi Wieler expressed concern over two people sharing a position on the Coordinating Committee. She would like it reconsidered before the Health Council votes on a Coordinating Committee. It was agreed that bios of each canidate would also be emailed to the members for better prepartion of the vote.
