COUNTY OF DUKES COUNTY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
An Executive Session of the County of Dukes County Commissioners was held Wednesday,
June 25, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. in the Retirement Office of the County Administration Building, notice of such meeting having been posted as required by law.
Commissioners Present: Leonard Jason, Jr.; Robert Sawyer; Paul Strauss; Roger Wey; Leslie Leland; John Alley, Chairman; Nelson Smith.
Also Present: Marsha Smolev, Executive Assistant
The Commissioners discussed their attempts to verify Ms. Perry’s college degree.
Commissioner Jason Moved that the Chairman and Vice Chairman pursue documentation of Ms. Perry’s degree, either there is a degree or there is not. Commissioner Leland Seconded the Motion. Commissioner Leland was asked to join the two others and agreed to. The Motion was restated to: send the Chair, Vice Chair and Les to pursue with absolute irrefutable evidence Ms. Perry’s degree one way or the other. Commissioner Smith Seconded the Motion. The Vote to Pass the Motion was Unanimous.
Roll Call Vote to Adjourn: Commissioner Sawyer – aye; Commissioner Wey – aye; Commissioner Jason – aye; Commissioner Strauss – aye; Commissioner Smith – aye; Commissioner Strauss – aye; Commissioner Leland – aye; Chairman Alley – aye.
The Commissioners Adjourned at 7:35 PM.
