Also Present: Carol Borer, County Manager
Marsha Smolev, Executive Assistant
Chairman Leland Moved to go into Executive Session to discuss strategy with respect to litigation and not reconvene in public session. Roll call was taken. Commissioners Jason, Flynn, Leland, Sawyer, Collins voted yes. Marsha Smolev, Executive Assistant was invited to stay. There was a brief recess at 10:05pm.
Executive Session, which was called to discuss strategy with respect to litigation, began 10:12 PM. Commissioner Jason gave an update on 2 conference calls focusing on Steamship Authority freight issues. He reported, and the County Manager and Commissioner Collins conferred, the County has no case right now. Discussion followed. Chairman Leland reminded the Commissioners that they could not discuss outside, what was discussed in Executive Session.
The executive session was adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
